Returns & Exchanges
At Doué, we want you to absolutely love your purchase! However, if something isn’t quite right, don’t worry. We’ve made returns and exchanges as simple and convenient as possible for you.
Returns Policy
- We offer store credit for all returns, so you can shop for another size, style, or item whenever you like!
- Items must be returned within 28 days from the delivery date.
- Items marked as FINAL SALE are not eligible for return unless they are faulty.
- If you receive an item with a manufacturing fault (we’re so sorry!), we will issue a full refund via the original payment method. We take great care to inspect all items before shipping, so this is rare.
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, and original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Please take extra care when trying on your garments. Items returned must be in original condition—unworn, unwashed, and free from any marks (including makeup, spray tan, or other scents). All tags and packaging should also be intact.
Exchanges
While we don’t offer direct exchanges, we’ve made it just as easy! Once your return is approved, you’ll be issued store credit, which you can use at your leisure to shop for a new size or item.
Need something right away? Feel free to order the replacement item now, and we’ll issue store credit once we’ve processed your return.
Returns & Exchange Criteria
- The item must be in its original condition—this means unworn, unwashed, and completely free from any signs of wear, such as makeup, spray tan, or other marks.
- The item should be free of scents, such as perfume or deodorant.
- All original tags must still be attached, and the item should be returned in its original packaging.
Please note: All returned items will be assessed upon arrival. The Doué returns team reserves the right to decline any returns that do not meet these criteria. If your return is not approved, the item will be sent back to you.
What Can’t Be Returned
- For hygiene reasons and the safety of our customers, the following items cannot be returned:
- Swimwear, unless the hygiene sticker is intact
How to Make a Return
- Ensure your item meets the returns criteria listed above.
- Securely package the item with all original tags and packaging.
- Please email returns@doue.co.za with your order number as the subject, and we will provide instructions for returning the item.
Once we receive your return, we will process your exchange as quickly as possible.
If your return is received after 28 days, a processing fee of R80 will be deducted from your store credit. No returns will be accepted 30 days from date of purchase.
Received a Faulty Item?
If you’ve received a faulty item, please email us at returns@doue.co.za within 5 days of receiving your order. We will provide instructions for returning the faulty item.
Please wait for instructions before sending your item back. Unfortunately, we can’t cover return shipping fees unless we’ve confirmed the fault.
Processing Time & Store Credit
- Returns are processed within 10-14 working days from receipt.
- Once processed, your store credit will be emailed to you and valid for 6 months. You can use this credit to shop for any of our items at your convenience.
- If you’re eligible for a refund due to a faulty item, we will refund the payment to the original method you used for the purchase.
Please note: We do not process returns on public holidays, so all returns will be handled on the next working day.
